Please Prepare your Speech

for the Public Hearing with

the OPSB!

The Public Hearing gives us the ability to let the Ohio Power Siting Board

know what the community thinks. This will help us when they consider

their project criteria #6 which says- Will the proposed facility serve the

public's interest, convenience, or is it a necessity? So, let them know

what you think about it! Even if you do not intend to speak please come

to the hearing so OPSB can see the overwhelming opposition from our

community!

If you still wish to post a Public Comment, we have found that

the easiest way to file a comment with the OPSB is by email! Please use

the email link below. Your comment will then be read/approved/posted

in the case record comment section within days.

Be sure to include this specific project's case number.

Participate in the OPSB Application Process

The Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB) governs energy projects of this size in Ohio.

Before the project could move forward, Algonquin submitted an application to the

OPSB and will then go through a regulated process that includes public notification,

meetings, and hearings.

On the OPSB website you to see the current and previous energy project applications,

the rules governing the projects, and the application process flow. This also allows you

to sign up and receive notifications. Important details about how the public can participate

or provide input are provided on the OPSB About Us page. Using this Link you can find the

status/applications/findings/comments specifically of the Kensington Proposal
